You gotta give Lefty alot of credit for his performance thus far in the St. Jude. Golf is about 99.9% mental at this level and he has impressed me.
Michael Vick is Conditionally Reinstated
Michael Vick has been conditionally reinstated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. What this means for Vick is that any team can sign him, he can participate in all the practices,and play in the last two pre-season games.
Goodell has stated that he will review the situation by week six of the regular season, possibly opening the door for full reinstatement. This decision could come earlier than that based on Vick's progress.
The big question that remains is what team, if any believes that signing Vick is worth more than all the trouble it may cause.
Does that mean he can play in the preseason but not in the regular season. This is the most ridiculous thing ever.
Just give him a real shot with no safety net. First mistep and your gone.

The NFL made it very clear that he is not suspended, just not fully reinstated.
This will probably become to be known as the" Michael Vick rule" for any future cases ( can you say Plaxico Burress)
The Eagles' Jim Johnson
Long time Eagles' defensive coordinator Jim Johnson passed away yesterday after losing his battle with cancer, he was 68.
Johnson should and will go down as one of the greatest and most innovative defensive minds of the game. He had an incredible knack of confusing opposing offenses as well as exposing their weakness. He was able to install schemes that shut down the games greatest players. He single handedly won games through his ability to utilize his players to their fullest potential, just watch some old Brian Dawkins tapes. He will be missed but not forgotten.
