Hall of Fame qualities cannot be just about raw numbers.
Just like a MVP award is really about how much your performance helped the overall team win, a Hall of Fame career needs to be based more on what you meant to the team(s) you played for. Nothing speaks better to this fact than World Championships won.
Schilling is and should be a Hall of Famer.
IMO he won't be a first ballot HOF guy but he will get in the next year. He has alienated a lot of writers along the way.
