The Baltimore Orioles announced on Wednesday that right-handed relief pitcher Jim Hoey underwent season-ending surgery on his pitching shoulder. The surgery, performed on May 4, was a successful arthroscopic procedure performed by Dr. Andrew Cosgarea.
