Default Lightning C Halpern out indefinitely with rupture of ACL
Tampa Bay center Jeff Halpern suffered a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Team USA's loss to Canada on Tuesday at the 2008 World Hockey Championships, Lightning executive vice president and general manager Jay Feaster announced Wednesday.

The captain of the USA squad, Halpern was hurt in the third period of the 5-4 loss and is done for the remainder of the tournament.
