Default Former Georgia Tech star Hamilton resigns position in program
Georgia Tech assistant director of player personnel Joe Hamilton, a former star quarterback at the school, has resigned from his position effective immediately.

Hamilton, who took the job under new head coach Paul Johnson on April 28, resigned a day after he was charged with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence and hit-and-run.
