The Atlanta Braves have acquired infielder Greg Norton from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations. The Braves were in need of a reserve infielder after Martin Prado suffered a sprained left thumb on Sunday and was placed on the 15-day disabled list Monday.
