Default Yankees send struggling Kennedy to minors; recall Rasner
The New York Yankees optioned struggling starting pitcher Ian Kennedy to Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes Barre, and recalled Darrell Rasner to start against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. Kennedy is 0-2 with a woeful 8.37 earned run average in five starts this season. Rasner is 4-5 with a 4.13 ERA in 17 major league games with the Yankees and Washington Nationals.
