Tim Hudson struck out 10 batters while logging his 11th career shutout in Atlanta's 2-0 triumph over the Cincinnati Reds in the opener of a three-game series.
Hudson (4-2) allowed three hits and didn't walk a batter, and Brian McCann stroked a two-run homer in the fourth inning. The 32-year-old right-hander recorded the 22nd complete game of his career.
Chipper Jones had a pair of hits and scored for the Braves, who snapped a four-game skid.
