Wild's Gaborik undergoes surgery

Minnesota Wild forward Marian Gaborik underwent minor arthroscopic surgery on his right hip joint on Friday.

The procedure, performed by Dr. Marc J. Philippon at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado, was designed to repair a torn labrum and to relieve some impingement in the hip.
