LSU's Perrilloux dismissed from team

LSU head coach Les Miles announced Friday that quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has been dismissed from the football team.

Miles had suspended Perrilloux in February for failing to follow team rules. He would not elaborate on the reason for the dismissal in a statement on Friday.

"Ryan was given every opportunity to be a part of this football team," Miles said. "In the end, he didn't fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete. We hope that a new beginning will benefit him.
