Resurgent Dodgers go for sweep of Marlins

Japanese import Hiroki Kuroda will attempt to snap a four- start winless skid when the surging Los Angeles Dodgers visit the Florida Marlins today for the finale of a three-game series at Dolphin Stadium.

Kuroda, a 33-year-old right-hander in his first major-league season, earned a win in his initial start after tossing seven innings of three-hit, one-run ball against San Diego on April 4. He's 0-2 with a pair of no-decisions since, allowing at least seven hits in each outing while seeing his earned run average swell from 1.29 to 3.82.
