Penguins' Roberts will sit for Game 1

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Gary Roberts will miss Game 1 of his club's Eastern Conference semifinal Friday against the New York Rangers with a groin injury.

The 41-year-old Roberts scored a pair of goals over the first two contests during the Pens' four-game sweep over Ottawa in the first round, but missed the final two games with a sore groin.
