Felipe Lopez belted the go-ahead grand slam in the sixth inning and tied a career-high with six RBI, as the Nationals pounded the New York Mets, 10-5, to split a two-game series.
The Nationals, who had 13 hits, scored 10 times over a three-inning span and beat the Mets for the first time in five meetings this season. It was Washington's fourth win in its last 20 games.
"It feels good to do it," Lopez said of the win. "We're getting comfortable. Wins like this get the energy back up."
