Marlins strike early to power past Braves

Dan Uggla went 3-for-5 with a triple and two runs batted in, and the Florida Marlins topped the Atlanta Braves, 7-2, in the first of two games from Turner Field.

Hanley Ramirez hit his seventh home run of the season, while Mike Jacobs also belted his seventh and had three RBI for the Marlins, who have won four of five.

Andrew Miller (1-2) gave up two runs -- one earned -- on nine hits in five innings of work. Doug Waechter, Matt Lindstrom, Taylor Tankersley and Justin Miller each threw a scoreless inning of relief.
