Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim star right fielder Vladimir Guerrero left the team's 3-2 loss against the Kansas City Royals with a bruised right index finger. Guerrero was replaced by Juan Rivera in the field after grounding out to shortstop in the eighth inning. He is being listed as day-to-day by the Angels.
