The Florida Marlins announced before Wednesday's game against the Washington Nationals that they have activated outfielder Jeremy Hermida from the 15-day disabled list. Hermida had been sidelined with a strained left hamstring since late March, but played well in a rehab assignment at Single-A Jupiter, hitting .333 with a homer in five games. The 24-year old appeared in 123 games last season, batting .296 with 18 homers and 63 RBI.
