Byrd gets contract extension at Belmont

Belmont University and head men's basketball coach Rick Byrd have come to terms on a five-year contract extension. Byrd, who just led Belmont to its third consecutive Atlantic Sun Championship, is one of 15 active Division-I men's basketball coaches with 500 or more career victories.
