Harden scratched for Tuesday vs. Blue Jays

The Oakland Athletics have reportedly scratched Rich Harden for Tuesday's game in Toronto with back soreness.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported Tuesday that the oft-injured Harden is expected to return to the mound Saturday in Cleveland. The right-hander's back soreness, which is focused in the lat area, may be as a result of long flights to and from Japan last month to open the regular season against the Red Sox in Tokyo, the Chronicle said.
