Default Wild's Schultz undergoes appendectomy
Minnesota Wild defenseman Nick Schultz underwent a successful appendectomy at an area hospital, the team announced Monday. The Northwest Division champion Wild open postseason play against the Avalanche on Wednesday at the Xcel Energy Center. Schultz's status for the opener of the best-of-seven series is currently unknown. Schultz scored two goals and handed out 13 assists for the Wild this season, and played in the team's
