The Atlanta Braves placed pitchers John Smoltz and Chuck James on the 15-day disabled list on Saturday. Smoltz is out with right shoulder inflammation while James is still rehabilitating his left shoulder. Both moves are retroactive to March 21. The Braves are hoping that Smoltz will miss just one turn in the rotation, and hope to have him back in time for their April 6 game against the New York Mets. Smoltz, 40, went 14-8
