Rays' Kazmir placed on 15-day DL

Tampa Bay Rays left-handed ace Scott Kazmir was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 21, the team reported Tuesday. Kazmir suffered a left elbow strain in an intrasquad game back on February 25 and has not pitched in a regulation game this spring.
