Nowitzki injures left leg versus Spurs

Reigning MVP Dirk Nowitzki was forced to exit early from the Dallas Mavericks' 88-81 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday with a lower left leg injury. Tim Duncan's layup at the 3:18 mark of the third period notched the Spurs' first lead of the half, 55-54.
