Default Sabres' Connolly to have season-ending surgery
Buffalo Sabres center Tim Connolly will have season-ending surgery to repair a nagging bone spur in his hip, team general manager Darcy Regier announced Friday. Connolly had been planning to postpone the procedure until after the season, but will instead travel to Vail, Colorado for the surgery Monday. Despite missing 26 games due to a variety of ailments this season, Connolly had totaled seven goals and 40 total points for Buffal
