Gonzalez still limited by strained abdominal muscle

Jupiter, FL (My Sportsbook) - St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Juan Gonzalez remains limited in his activity because of a strained left abdominal muscle, but the club received some good news when an exam for a possible hernia was negative.

Gonzalez, trying to make the club as a non-roster invitee, has not played a spring training game since March 10. He is batting .308 in nine games with a homer and five runs batted in this spring.
