Detroit Tigers second baseman Placido Polanco was ejected from the team's game against St. Louis on Thursday for arguing balls and strikes. Polanco, who came into the game hitting .316 with three home runs and 27 runs batted in, struck out looking against Ron Villone in the bottom of the sixth inning, and was tossed by home plate umpire Paul Schrieber after questioning the call.
