Rangers, Astros meet again for Lone Star bragging rights

Left-hander Wandy Rodriguez takes the mound for the Houston Astros tonight in the finale of an all-Lone Star State interleague series with the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.

The teams split the initial two games of this series, but the Astros made more news off the field when pitcher Shawn Chacon was suspended indefinitely on Wednesday after a physical confrontation with General Manager Ed Wade.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Chacon, who was recently demoted to the bullpen, exploded in the clubhouse before the game and had to be pulled away from Wade by several teammates.

Rodriguez has defeated Texas both times he's faced them in his brief career, allowing 11 hits and six runs with 10 strikeouts in 11 1/3 innings.
