Flores knocks in game-winner as Nationals edge Angels

Flores' RBI single in the bottom of the ninth pushed Washington past the The Los Angeles Angels, 5-4, in the finale of a three-game interleague series.

Against Scot Shields (3-2), Elijah Dukes started the ninth with a single. He advanced to second on a Lastings Milledge ground out, then scored the game- deciding run when Flores drilled a ball to the gap in right-center.

Milledge hit a two-run home run and scored a pair of runs for the Nationals, who salvaged a game in the set and snapped a four-game losing skid. Ronnie Belliard and Wily Mo Pena also drove in a run each.
