The Anaheim Ducks announced Wednesday that they inked center Brian Sutherby to a one-year contract extension. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Acquired from Washington on November 19, 2007 in exchange for Anaheim's second-round pick in the 2009 draft, Sutherby registered one goal and one assist in 50 games with the Capitals and Ducks last season.
