Report: Mavs' Kidd to be on U.S. Olympic team

Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd will be named to the United States Olympic Basketball team, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The newspaper reported that the 35-year-old Kidd, who averaged 10.8 points and 10.1 assists in 80 games with the Mavs and New Jersey Nets last season, received a call earlier this week to confirm he would be on the 12-man roster.

Kidd's teams have a perfect 38-0 record in international competition,
