Mets put OF Alou on DL again

The New York Mets placed outfielder Moises Alou on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a strained left calf.

Alou, who was activated from the disabled list Tuesday and started against Arizona, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, felt tightness in his left calf throughout the game and didn't return to the field after a 61-minute rain delay.
