Default Tigers shuffle roster, put Santiago, Thomas on DL
The Detroit Tigers placed infielder Ramon Santiago and outfielder Clete Thomas on the 15-day disabled list on Friday, amidst several roster moves. Santiago suffered a separated left shoulder in Wednesday's game with the Oakland Athletics after diving for a ground ball in the seventh inning. He was 1-for-2 with a walk before leaving and is batting .361 (13-for-36) on the season with 11 runs batted in and 10 runs scored in 18 games.
