 Chipper Jones hits 400th home run Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones hit the 400th home run of his career during Thursday's game against the Florida Marlins. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Jones turned on a Ricky Nolasco hanging slider and belted it over wall in right field. The solo blast, the 14th of the season for Jones, gave the Braves a 7-5 lead.
