 Pedro returns for Mets New York Mets pitcher Pedro Martinez was activated from the 15-day disabled list to start Tuesday's game against the San Francisco Giants. The 36-year old Martinez has been out since suffering a hamstring injury in his first start of the season on April 1 at Florida. The veteran right-hander is in the final season of a four-year deal he signed with the Mets after helping the Boston Red Sox capture a World Series title in 2004.
