Frolik in the fold for Florida

The Florida Panthers have come to terms on an entry-level contract with forward Michael Frolik, their first-round draft pick (10th overall) from 2006.

The 20-year-old Frolik played in 45 games with Rimouski in the Quebec Major- Junior Hockey League this past season, compiling 24 goals and 41 assists. It was his second full season with Rimouski, after a 31-goal, 42-assist performance in 52 contests in his first campaign.
