    In the scope of this sport, how big is this upset? To me the US team has made a statement that they are a legitimate contender for next years World Cup and that this win was not a fluke.

    Not sure. We will see what they do if they have to face off against Brazil in the final. I was really happy to see the U.S. beat Spain, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then .
