| I actually like the idea of loans. Sometimes trades go sour because neither the player or his team are comfortable and they just don't work out. With a loaner, there is a good opportunity to get a feel for the 'chemistry' before making things final. |

| Players are being traded and swapped around like commodities. I am not sure I like the idea as no sooner you have gotten to like a player, he might just get loaned or traded to another team, for whom I might not have a particular liking. |

| I have to admit, I like the good ol' days when a player stayed with a team a long time. Collecting baseball cards was great when it went by the teams and how long a player had been with them in addition to the games he helped to win (or lose for that matter).

Thats what I was thinking as well. I mean I understand what a loan is and how it can help those involved, but really wouldn't you feel a little less cheap if you were loaned out a ton rather than traded? |
