Default "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather

Or "Money Mayweather", regardless of if he excites you, is the best P4P boxer in the world. Not just because I was born in the same town of Grand Rapids, Michigan, but because he is the perfect example of what the sweet science is about, "hit and not get hit".

While the casual fan might see him as running, they are blinded by his ability to dodge shots anyway he pleases. He doesn't have to be a KO artist to be the best. He does it with speed and finess and creativity.

Even if he doesn't fight Cotto he will go down as one of the best ever. Cotto is good but he isn't on the level of Money Mayweather.

Agreed on the different levels. We see tons of people in sports get their name out just for abit but not all will ever go down in the books that takes some serious style, lets hope he makes it.

Oh, he will make it! What he's done is provide boxing fans with excellence in the ring. I'd prefer if he never stepped in the ring, and I don't want to see his legacy tarnished because he fights beyond what physical skills he had that made him so great. I hope he won't become another Roy Jones Jr. I'm confident he's smart enough to understand all this anyways.

"Pretty Boy" reminds me of Muhammad Ali - fast on his feet and wily to boot. I agree that a good boxer doesn't have to be a KO artist and that is one of the reasons why I wasn't particularly impressed with Tyson and his street-fighter style.

Mike Tyson's street fighter style? I assume you are talking about his career after losing to Buster Douglas, because what he was before was one of the most technically skilled heavyweight boxers. Not only because of his explosive power and speed, but he had tremendous defensive skill as well. Watching him in his prime back before his life became all messed up he was poised to be one of the greatest. He was very special to watch for those of us who watched him come up.
