HALIFAX, May 7 /CNW/ - Four Canadians are among 10 finalists vying for a
$1 million grand prize in the World Poker Crown tournament which comes to an
end tomorrow in Barcelona, Spain.

Jack Hinchey (Oshawa, ON), Michael Lawson (Orangeville, ON), Michael Leah
(Toronto, ON) and Marc Castonguay (Montreal, QC) have been receiving the red
carpet treatment since their arrival at the offline final table since their
hometown departures on Monday of this week, including helicopter transfer to
the exclusive Peralada Castle Resort.

Their journey started out three months ago and during that time they have
outmatched more than 20,000 players. Now, in the offline final table they are
competing with six other finalists hailing from Germany, Italy, Netherlands
and Poland for one of the largest ever guaranteed prize pools of $3 million
with $1 million as top prize.

The World Poker Crown tournament is hosted by 888.com, a leader in online
gaming since 1997.

The final table will air online at worldpokercrown.com starting at
9:30am Eastern. On the site, viewers can also vote to win one of four World
Series of Poker packages, each valued at $17,000.

The final table will also be televised and broadcast worldwide at a later date.
