The European Union is once again trying to put their foot down when it comes to online gambling in the US. Although previous attempts have been ignored by the US, the EU again asked on Wednesday for the US to change their laws.

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act has not only outraged citizens of the US, but also online casino companies in other countries. The European Union is giving the US one final chance to come into compliance with trade agreements, before they take their complaints to the World Trade Organization.

"It is not only the US that the EU has taken issue with regarding online gambling laws," said observer Gus Drewery, "other countries have also been put on notice, and most have at least started the process of coming into compliance."
