When Sen Bill Frist introduced the UIGEA in 2006 to stop online gambling activities in the US it looked to be the death of online casino and poker action in the US. Many large sites pulled the plug on US operations, and it was impossible to fund player accounts with cash., However, shortly afterwards a number of loopholes were discovered which allowed Americans to legally continue gambling. Thanks to sites such as unitedstatesofpoker.blogspot.com and uscasinos.blogspot.com it was still very easy to continue gambling if one wished, and it was all legally above board. These blogs worked hard to show Americans how and where to continue gambling online, with detailed instructions of how to deposit money into a player account.
