The former CEO of Internet sports betting site BetOnSports entered into a plea agreement with the US government today in St. Louis. David Carruthers, who has been under house arrest since July of 2006, pled guilty to racketeering and agreed to cooperate in future prosecutions of other BetOnSports officials. In return, authorities said they would recommend a prison sentence for Carruthers under three years.
