The anti-gambling politicians have had their way over the past several years when it comes to online casinos and Internet gambling. Their run is quickly approaching an end, however, and the online industry cannot wait.

Representative Barney Frank has done just about everything in his power to try and have the online gaming industry regulated in the United States. He has been an avid opponent of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, but his cries have fell on deaf ears.

That may all be changing within the next few months. As the end of 2008 nears, people from all walks of life are overjoyed with the idea of a change in leadership in the US. None, however, will be more relieved that the Internet gambling community.
