The future of internet gambling in Kentucky will be the focal point of an emergency meeting in Franklin, Kentucky on Monday. The event is being organized by the Bluegrass Institute and expected to attend will be many of the key organizations involved with securing the future of online poker in the state. The meeting takes place today at 1:00pm ET at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Frankfort, the state’s capital, and will include representatives from the Poker Players Alliance (PPA), Internet Commerce Association (IGC), Interactive Media Entertainment and Gaming Association (iMEGA), and the Americans for Tax Reform (ATR). The event leads up to Tuesday’s critical hearing, where the future of online poker in Kentucky may be determined.
