Strangely enough, I can't say I'm surprised at all by this. To me at least, it proves that people can, and will, bet on literally anything. Kind of ridiculous to me, but then again, it's no different than betting on anything else.

I had no plans at all on betting on the Miss Universe pageant. I do have a friend that put 50 bucks down on the winner, and he ended up being wrong. It's so hard to be right when you're betting on something that a judge decides on, it's hard to be right! I just don't think it's smart to bet on beauty competitions.
