    We recently asked our Bodog Poker players who they think will win the most total money at this year's WSOP and why. Players who replied with a comment will be eligible for a weekly Question of the Month (QOTM) $250 freeroll every Wednesday at 3:05 p.m. ET.

    Here are some of the better comments:

    * Poker Player: StanTheFireman
    Choice: Daniel Negreanu - Daniel is the most fantastic player in poker due to his ability to read cards and read the player. It's so much fun to watch him call hands.

    * Poker Player: FishFood
    Choice: Allen Cunningham – He is a consistent and solid tournament player.

    * Poker Player: FeltFetish

    Default Managing Your Bankroll in Poker: Know Your Limits!

    A big mistake many beginner poker players make is playing over their head. This includes both playing over their skill level and playing over their bankroll level. Getting caught doing either is a recipe for disaster and will gut your bankroll real quick.

    When you’re first starting out in online poker you should always start at a low limit no matter how much cash you have or how experienced a poker player you are. Most players don’t realize how much easier it is to move up a level than it is to drop down a level. And by easier we really mean cheaper. When you want to move up a level it’s because you’re playing good and making some cash. However, if you want to drop down a level, things can’t be going too well and your bankroll must be in the red.

    Default Strategies for Scooping the Pot in Omaha Hi Lo Poker

    In Omaha Hi-Lo Split there is an event that all players patiently wait for. It’s called scooping the pot, and quite simply it means to win both sides of the split pot at the same time. It’s the object of the game to scoop the pot, and every player needs to have it in their head that this is the ultimate goal.

    Default How to Calculate Implied Poker Odds

    When drawing to a higher hand in poker, there are mathematical equations that are used to determine whether your draw is a practical one or not. Pot odds are a comparison of the size of the bet you have to call to the percentage of the total pot. That percentage is compared to the percentage that your hand has to hit one of its outs in order to make a winning hand.

    Default Starting Hand Selection for Omaha Hi-Lo Poker

    Omaha Hi-Lo is one of the best variations of poker you can play. It involves many different aspects to consider, but the most important is starting hand selection. In this game you want to consider both high and low possibilities when deciding to play the hand.

    The mindset you want to have when choosing hands to play is that you have an opportunity to win both high and low hands.

    Default Tipping the Dealer in Poker Rooms and Casinos

    When you’re playing in a land-based casino there are a few notes on etiquette to know. A common one is how much, and when, you should tip your dealer throughout the session. Not everyone feels that tipping is a required thing to do, and many won’t do it at all. They know that in most casinos the tips are pooled and that employee doesn’t get your tip for what they did for you, only their share of it. Some casinos will even take a percentage of those tips for the house. If this is an issue for you, ask the dealer what the house policy is before you tip them. After all, they’re only doing their jobs and not doing you a service the way a waitress or coat-check girl would.

    Default Shark Bait: Playing Scared at a Poker Table

    Anyone who has read any poker book or watched even a little poker on TV knows that to be a winning poker player you have to be aggressive. That’s why poker players who play scared are doomed to failure. By playing scared poker and avoiding all risks, you’re taking any and all aggression out of your game and leaving yourself wide open to being devoured by the sharks.

    That's a good point. You do need to be aggressive to be a top player. If you are passive about how you play and don't jump on chances right away, your odds at actually winning quickly drop.
