Back home

After spending the better part of 7 weeks in Las Vegas it sure is nice to be home. I wish I could say things have slowed down in my life, but that will have to wait 3 more weeks. The house I've been building for the better part of 4 months is almost done. I am really amazed that we got it done so soon. After moving 3 times in the past 5 years I am excited to finally settle into a place designed like we wanted it. I can't wait!

Once the house is complete I will be ready to settle into my office to get back into the swing of playing online on a daily basis. I miss the 50 hour weeks of non stop tournament action. Of course I will have to find some time to enjoy the rest of the summer as well. It feels like it has flown by, and I have missed it.

Football season is right around the corner. Soon the fantasy football drafts will be held, and I will be heading to Eugene for all of the Oregon Ducks home games. The season opener is August 30th and is actually a Pac-10 conference game against the Washington Huskies. It should be a tough opener, but I like our chances.

After the summer is over there is that one trip we always make in late September.

As always I can't wait. I've said it a million times and ill say it again. This is the best week of the year. If you have an opportunity, try a few feeders and try to get to Aruba. I promise you will have the time of your life.

Some exciting news for UB and AP players has just been announced. A platform merger is taking place that in my opinion is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to UB. This is going to be a huge deal in so many ways and I am very excited to see this finally happening. You can get a glimpse of what it's all about here.
