WSOP is finally over

The WSOP is finally over and it was a little disappointing as I never cashed in seven tries. I did very well in the cash games, satellites and sit and goes, but it's always disappointing when you don't make any final tables or win that bracelet that we all want as poker players. Getting second a few years ago has made me really hungry for one and I will really try hard on winning one next year.

I wanted to play more tournaments this year but I had to return back to Texas because a boy I helped raise since he was 3 months old had gotten in a car wreck that left him in the hospital for a week. He is doing much better now and spending the summer with me, His mom should be walking in a few months and as they always say "It could have been much worse". Thanks again for all the friends whom have called and left well wishes. You Rock!

Since being home this past week I won the $30 rebuy 20K guaranteed tourney last Thursday, I won an Aruba package in the Saturday 50 seat guarantee, won the 15K guaranteed Sniper tourney last night and been killing the cash games. Online has always been my bread and butter as there are not as many peaks and valleys as live play offers and you don't have to compete against the worlds best for tons more money.

I am super excited about going to California in early September and filming another season for The Best Damn Poker Show. Annie and I plan on kicking Phil's and P0ker H0's ass again this year. If you don't have to lay over 4 or 5 to 1, bet on us. I am sure we will be getting odds again as Phil has a super ego and will be a big favorite (In his mind).

If you want to try out for this show, make a great video like many have done on youtube.com and send them into UB so maybe you can be on our winning team.

I am also really excited about the Aruba Classic coming up as today I took care of my travel plans. This is always the best tourney of the year and will be my sixth year going to Aruba for this event. This is the longest lasting poker tourney outside of the US, and will be rocking as Scott Ian and Pearl Aday will be there. Last year I had the time of my life and this year it will be even better as the parties are awesome. This is the time of a lifetime and should NOT be missed. Many of the top pros will be in the UK for the WSOPE so that makes it even better for you to do well in this event.

As many of you know Debo and I have a weight loss bet with H0 for total weight loss bet for $10,000 , Debo has lost 20lbs so far, I have lost 40 and H0 is around 50lbs lost. Ho also has a $10k bet with Phil that he will lose 50lbs before the Aruba Classic. Ho should win that one easy and I think Debo and I can lose another 30 before then.

I hope to see many of you in California or Aruba in the coming months as these will both be great times. Thanks for many of you coming by the tables and saying hello as I have been playing a lot lately.
