    Happy Thursday Folks

    Marc Lawrence
    Buffalo vs. Kent State
    Play On: Kent State

    Note:
The Flashes host the Bulls in a key MAC clash at the MAC Center with double-digit loss revenge on their minds. That fits nicely into Kent's 9-2 ATS mark when playing with same season double-digit loss revenge. With Buffalo in off an upset win at Ohio and the Flashes in off back-to-back losses, look for Kent to get their revenge here tonight.

Marc's Qualified Last Home Game System 'Best Bet' play came big again Wednesday night improving to 9-1-1 the past two seasons on these top plays. His next Qualified Last Home Game System will tip on Saturday.

Tonight, however, he shares a Last Home Game Play in a 100% perfect winning situation that you don't want to miss. Get it now - don't miss out!

    (701) DALLAS MAVERICKS
    (702) NEW ORLEANS HORNETS
    Take "Over"

Dallas is not a strong defensive team, preferring to push the ball up the court with an uptempo attack. The Mavs will have tried defensive legs this game, playing their third game in four nights, plus the second of a back to back spot after playing rival San Antonio last night. New Orleans has a powerful one-two offensive punch with David West and Chris Paul. West was chosen the Western Conference player of the week on the strength of his 28.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in four Hornets' victories. The new week brought more of the same stellar production. When these teams met in January the game sailed over the total and this is another good spot for an uptempo game. Play the Mavs/Hornets over the total.

    (727) SAN JOSE STATE
    (728) NEVADA
    Take "(727) SAN JOSE STATE"

Nevada just scored its best win in what has been a frustrating campaign as they dumped Utah State. The Wolfpack also knocked off VCU in the Bracket Buster, so it looks as though they may finally be rounding into form. That makes UNR very live with the WAC Tourney taking place in Reno. But I'm still not convinced they're ready to be spotting any big numbers. They're just 2-9 as home chalk this season, and if this gets to double digits, note that Nevada is 0-6 laying ten or more this year. UNR already beat the Spartans in San Jose and could take this game lightly, as it actually doesn't mean all that much. I'll opt for San Jose to keep it competitive and will lean toward taking the points.

Default Volunteers vs. Gamecocks Free Pick - big al

Big Al's Free Pick Of The Day -
Tennessee Volunteers vs. South Carolina Gamecocks (NCAAB)
    Play: Point Spread: Tennessee

At 7 pm, our complimentary selection is on the Tennessee Volunteers plus the points over South Carolina, as the Vols are a solid 37-14 ATS in the regular season off a straight-up road win since 1998. Last Sunday, the Vols went into Gainesville and upended the Gators 79-75 as a 4.5-point underdog. That was the 2nd straight win for Bruce Pearl's men, and they have also won four straight in this series vs. South Carolina, and eight of 10 since February 2005. Take Tennessee plus the points. Good luck as always...Al McMordie.

Al McMordie had a rough 0-4 Wednesday here, and looks to resume his winning ways tonight with a HUGE PLAY in College Hoops: It's Big Al's NCAA Conference Game of the Year, and it's backed by a super 56-15 ATS Last Home Game system.

Al's having another great season, and is on a 44-24 hot streak here over his last 68 releases. Get on it.

Default Missouri St vs. Wichita St Free Pick

    Dave Price
Missouri St vs. Wichita St 1 Unit FREE PLAY on Wichita State -2.5

These teams split a pair of close games during the regular season but I give the Shockers the edge tonight as they enter the MVC tourney playing much better basketball. Missouri State lost 6 of 7 and 9 of 11 down the stretch and it takes on a Wichita State team that believes it can win this tourney as it already has wins over top seeds Northern Iowa and Creighton this season. Missouri State is just 4-12 ATS against conference opponents this season, 6-17 ATS revenging a loss vs. an opponent over the last 2 seasons, and 0-6 ATS when playing away from home and revenging a same season loss vs. an opponent over the last 2 seasons.

    Lay the number.

Dave Price will bounce back strong tonight with his National TV 3-for-1 Big Ticket featuring his Tennessee/S. Carolina 7* SEC GAME OF THE YEAR (ESPN)!

    Default Spreitzer's Thursday play

    Scott Spreitzer's CBB ODDSMAKER BLOWOUT G.O.Y.! *11-2, 85%!

I'm laying the points with South Carolina on Thursday. It's a battle for the SEC East and a shot at revenge for the Gamecocks. USC coach Darrin Horn called his team's first half performance earlier this season against Tennessee, his team's worst half of basketball of the season. I don't believe it was "coach-speak." USC couldn't hit water from a boat during that first half and trailed by as many as 19-points. But they regrouped at the break and fought back before finally losing by just three points, 82-79. The Gamecocks lost at Vandy last time out. We had the Commodores in that contest. It was a great spot to play against USC. But they return home where they have won eight in a row by an average margin of 10.5 ppg. They have been doing a good job of running teams out of the gym, so to speak. But they have also proved that they can win by a decent margin in slow tempo games, whipping Auburn, 68-56. It's important to note that the Vols will try to run with South Carolina. That's because the Gamecocks have covered four in a row against teams that score more than 76 ppg...which of course, the Vols do. USC is 16-1 SU at home this season where they not only score 80 ppg, but also play a tenacious style of defense. They hold their "guests" to 40.8% shooting, including just over 30% from behind the arc. They're also forcing a whopping 21 turnovers per game, while allowing just 11 assists per game. Meanwhile, the Vols give up 76.5 ppg on the road on 48% shooting, also allowing seven made treys per game at a 36% clip. Finally, South Carolina has been tremendous bouncing back from a double-digit loss. They are a perfect 7-0, 100% ATS in this situation and as mentioned, they're off a 13-point defeat at Vanderbilt. Look for South Carolina to roll to the win and cover on Thursday. The Gamecocks are my Oddsmaker Blowout GOY. Thanks! GL! Scott

    Default Jimmy boyd thursday play

    Jimmy boyd
    Penn St vs. Illinois

These teams combined for just 71 totals points when Penn State beat Illinois 38-33 last month. While I expect more scoring today, I don't see this one going over as each of the past 2 meetings in this series at Penn State have gone under. The last time these two teams faced off here, just 103 total points were scored. Both of these teams are sensational on the defensive end and I expect to see another physical, ugly matchup. Illinois is 21-8 UNDER in road games over the last 3 seasons, 14-4 UNDER as a favorite this season, and 16-4 UNDER after scoring 30 points or less in the first half in 2 straight games over the last 3 seasons. The UNDER is 11-3 in the Fighting Illini's last 14 overall and 8-3-1 in the Nittany Lions' last 12 home games. Take the Under.

Default Randall the Handle Hockey Pick

    Randall the Handle NHL
    Columbus +1.35 over NASHVILLE
The Preds have won five in a row and they scored 14 goals in its last two wins over Detroit and Edmonton. In fact, the Preds have scored 24 times in its last four games and that’s incredible when you consider that they’ve been tooth and nails to score anything all year long. So, they ran into some soft goaltending, they got a little hot but there’s just no way that’s going to continue much longer. Now they’ll face the defensive-minded Jackets in another crucial game and they’ll face the strong goaltending of Steve Mason (25-15-3 record and a 2.20 goals-against average). I also like the pick-up of Antoine Vermette for Columbus. Vermette is a highly skilled, speedy player that could thrive on this team and the Jackets say he’ll play on the top line alongside Nash and Huselius. This is a case of a hot team being a little overpriced due to a recent surge and thus, the value lies in the visitor. Play: Columbus +1.35 (Risking 2 units).
