Default Skill-based games

What are your favorite skill-based games to play online? By skill-based games, I mean games that don't typically rely solely on luck (like slot machines).

I don't play skill-based games for cash, but I started playing them on Pogo. I can't even name all the games that I play there.

I also wonder, is Blackjack considered skill-based or luck-based?

Pogo does seem like a good place to play the skill-based games. I like to play the type of games where you are supposed to pop all the balloons (or something to that effect) in the color groups. It's kind of hard to explain. Everybody at home laughs at me for loving it so much, but hey, not every game you play has to be manly.

Pogo has some good games. It's somehow affiliated with Aol though, and I haven't played in a while. You have to have the paid account to play some of the games now, and that kind of stinks.

Other than that, I love skill based games!

Well if its with AOL I'm not game. Don't you know those are the evil corp types that suck our minds dry? Seriously though I will check it out but no promises. I like a good old game of chess any day, and any night it could be a game of billiards.

I play pool and chess and I also tried playing snooker but I couldn't play seriously because the name of it always made me laugh. I like playing Mahjong because its such a challenge

I play a nice game of chess but for some reason checkers never interested me. I haven't played chess for very long, and I get beat all the time. I'm not horrible, but I wouldn't place any bets on my chess skills any day.
