Falcons sign No. 3 overall pick, QB Ryan

Quarterback Matt Ryan signed a six-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday.

Financial details of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

The number three overall pick is the second top-three 2008 NFL draft choice to sign following Michigan offensive tackle Jake Long's signing prior to being selected first overall.
